Iggy relocated to the US from Australia after two of her songs, gained massive popularity on YouTube. It wouldn’t take long for T.I. to notice her talents and sign her to his record label Grand Hustle, where she released her debut mixtape Ignorant Art. Her debut album, The New Classic dropped in 2014 and despite peaking at top five in some global charts, it received mixed reviews. However, the album topped the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop albums and she became the first female non-American rapper to achieve that feat.
