Born in Sydney, Australia, Iggy Azalea has worked his way up to become one of the best female rappers of the last decade. Iggy relocated to the US from Australia after two of her songs, gained massive popularity on YouTube. It wouldn’t take long for T.I. to notice her talents and sign her to his record label Grand Hustle, where she released her debut mixtape Ignorant Art. Her debut album, The New Classic dropped in 2014 and despite peaking at top five in some global charts, it received mixed reviews. However, the album topped the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop albums and she became the first female non-American rapper to achieve that feat. Iggy has released some great hits such as “Fancy” which topped the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart and “Problem” which peaked at number two on the same chart. This made Iggy Azalea join the likes of The Beatles as the only acts to rank number one and two on the US Billboard Hot 100. We have ranked ten of the best Iggy Azalea songs in descending order. Starting us off in the tenth position on our list of the top ten Iggy Azalea songs is a song that samples the song “Demons” by Sleigh Bells. “Demons” is the fourth song from Iggy Azalea’s 2012 album, TrapGold. The song contains some scary lyrics, and sections of her fans consider it one of her best songs.

The lyrics of this song features a line that goes like, “Baby I got me, and that’s all I need, only friend I need.” The song itself is about confidence and in those lines, Iggy Azalea outlines her struggles with self-confidence as she was creating her debut album. Along with the self-confidence message, the song warns her haters not to mess with her or anyone in her clique.

The song was written by Iggy Azalea with the sole purpose of inspiring and motivating people through her story. In this song produced by The Invisible Men and Salt Wives, Iggy Azalea teams up with Jennifer Hudson in the song which is contained in a reissue of her debut album, The New Classic. The track received positive reviews from critics with some of them praising Jennifer Hudson for bringing a soulful sass to the amazing rap song.

The number six song in our countdown of the top ten Iggy Azalea songs features veteran female singer Jennifer Lopez in the dance song which contains heavy percussion with amazing beats that will make you want to hit the dance floor. In the song’s video, Jennifer Lopez appears to invite girls to the dance floor to shake their bodies. Iggy Azalea comes in with some cool raps and her irresistible flow. The song peaked at #18 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and what a great collaboration it was.

In this up-tempo song, Ariana Grande teams up with Iggy Azalea who does an impressive verse. According to Ariana Grande, her manager wanted to have Ying Yang Twins in the song but they flopped in the auditions. She pushed to get Iggy Azalea on the song who got behind the mic and killed it.
4. Kream ft. Tyga
“Kream” served as the lead single for Iggy Azalea’s extended play from 2018, Survive the Summer. The song features Tyga and samples the song “K.R.E.A.M.” by Wu-Tang Clan and “Dead End” by Raw Beat Mafia. With over 100 million streams on Spotify, there is no doubt that this is one of the best Iggy Azalea songs.
3. 1-800-Bone
Coming in at number three on our countdown of the top ten Iggy Azalea songs is the song “1-800-Bone” which is contained on her freestyle mixtape, TrapGold. The impressive song features so high on our list due to Iggy’s rapping prowess and her great flow. Although the song was not a commercial hit, Iggy’s talents on the mic are on clear display.
2. Black Widow ft Rita Ora
The number two song on our list is a song whose lyrics dwell on the subject of revenge and female strength on the back of a failed relationship. The song has a great beat, and the duo of Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora do enough justice to the song with outstanding vocals. The song peaked at #26 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and has been used as a soundtrack for the video game Just Dance.

With a video inspired by the 90s coming-of-age film, Clueless “Fancy” takes the top spot, and for a good reason. After its release, the song was a popular hit on almost or radio stations and clubs alike. The song has broken several records, and in 2017, Billboard named it as the best-selling song from any female rapper in history. “Fancy” is an electro-pop rap song that was written and performed by Iggy Azalea and Charly XCX. In the song, Iggy clearly displays her confidence with some amazing lyrics that are accompanied by a great beat. The song reached number on the US Billboard Hot 100, where it held the spot for seven weeks and was named by Billboard as the Song of the Summer in 2014. It has also been nominated for several awards, including the Grammy Awards, and it is undoubtedly Iggy Azalea’s greatest piece of work.
