And remember everyone, besides my 6 month ownership, THIS IS A ONE OWNER MOTORCYCLE.

I purchased this directly from the original owners, an older married couple. You can rest easy knowing this bike was taken care of lovingly by adults.

I'm selling my VTX1300R which I only recently purchased. It is black, with black detachable hard luggage and aftermarket windshield/windscreen. It only has 5400 miles and runs like the day it was built.

Includes a windshield, aftermarket hard luggage which is easily detachable with a quick disconnect inside the bags, auxiliary cord hookup and amplifier mounted inside right bag and connected to handlebar mounted speakers, 12v charger plug, battery tender hookup, and comes with a cover as well.

Aftermarket Cobra Speedster Slashdown pipes sound great, but not too loud with the baffles installed. With these pipes, the factory crossover tube is retained as well! As a result, you won't have any problems with exhaust reversion like with your typical drag pipes. Exhaust was professionally installed when the bike was new and the proper carburetor adjustments were performed. I wasn't able to find any flat spots or surging whatsoever. Previous owner said that they mostly used ethanol free fuel and I have continued to do so.

Tires have good tread but are approaching their maximum age. I will update with dates shortly. You'll have no problem finishing out this season on them, even if you ride in the rain.

Issues:
- Minor crazing in lower portion of windscreen. Extremely difficult to see, but it's there.
- Tank has a small dent in the front left. If this is up long enough, I may have a paintless dent repair done. I'll update the post if so.
- Luggage needs new keys. I wanted to get them keyed to the bike, but they could easily be replaced with any generic filing cabinet lock cylinder.
- Exhaust caps have flaking paint. They have a lifetime warranty from Cobra, but the previous owner hasn't been able to find the purchase receipt. I called the original dealership, but have yet to hear back. You can try your luck with them, or I will sand and paint them the color of your choice if you want.
- Tires are getting old as previously stated.

I really wanted to like this bike. I'm a Honda guy through and through. I bought this bike intending to keep it for a year or two. So why am I selling so soon then? Well, cruisers just aren't for me. I've never had a cruiser in my 20 years of riding and wanted to try it out. But no. It's not for me. If you're a cruiser rider, I think you'll love it. I'm going to stick with my Goldwing. Guess I've been spoiled by it for too long now.

Maintenance recently performed this season:
- Engine oil changed.
- Brake fluid flushed out and replaced.
- Rear differential fluid replaced.
- Battery replaced.

If you are interested, I will include 3 months of moderate mechanical help (brakes, carburetor, clutch, electrical troubleshooting) should something malfunction. Labor only! You provide the parts and the beer afterwards.

Bike is used so sold As-Is. Test rides only with cash in hand and a valid motorcycle license.
