Do I have to book McParking in advance?
Yes, you must book your parking space before arrival. Immediately after booking, you will receive the parking ticket and the booking confirmation by e-mail. You can therefore also make a booking at short notice on site.
Is it possible to reserve a parking space by telephone?
Yes, instead of using our website, you can also reserve your parking space with McParking simply by calling +49 (0)30 414 003 00.
Can I keep my car key?
Yes, you can leave your car in the multi-storey car park or in our car park yourself and collect it there with your key. It is not necessary to return the key. Optionally, however, you can deposit the car key with us. To do this, you must select the corresponding option when booking the parking space. Please note: If you have booked our e-charging service, the key deposit is mandatory so that our staff can start and stop charging processes.
No confirmation of the booking has been received in my email account.
Have you checked your email spam folder? It is possible that the booking confirmation has been stored there if certain personal security settings have triggered this. In case you do not find the booking confirmation with the parking ticket in the spam, please contact us via the contact form.
How do I get through the barrier with my car?
As soon as the number plate recognition system has automatically recognised your number plate, the barrier will open by itself. If this does not work straight away, please hold the QR code of your parking ticket up to the reader.
How can I leave the parking area?
After you have been driven from the terminal back to the McParking site by our shuttle bus, simply get into your car and drive to the exit. The barrier will open again automatically after reading the vehicle registration number. If the recognition fails, simply scan the QR code on your ticket.
If your parking space has not been paid for in advance or if you have parked longer than booked, a payment must be made at the pay station or to the McParking staff.
Why do I have to enter my car registration number when booking?
It is mandatory to enter the number plate so that we can assign parked cars to a booking and contact the owner if necessary. If the number plate of your car changes, you can change it yourself online or inform our staff before entering the car park. In addition, entering the registration number makes it easier to enter and exit the car park.
Will I be allocated a pitch number when I make my booking?
When you book, you are guaranteed a free parking space on the day of arrival. However, an exact parking space number will not be assigned.
How can I use the shuttle to/from the terminal?
After you have parked your car, our modern low-floor bus will take you to BER Airport. Our bus runs every 20 minutes to bus park B. From there it's not far to Terminals 1 and 2. Departures are at the same place every hour on the hour, 20 minutes before and after.
On your return, after collecting your luggage, go back to bus park B. The McParking bus also leaves from there on the hour and 20 minutes after and before. The bus is usually ready to board 5 minutes earlier. It is not necessary to book in advance by telephone for the return journey. You can view the bus position live online.
What dimensions may my vehicle not exceed?
In the multi-storey car park, entry is restricted to a maximum vehicle height of 2.1 metres. The maximum vehicle width in the multi-storey car park and in the car park is 2.2 m. The maximum length is 6 m.

What is long-term parking at Berlin Brandenburg Airport?
If you park your vehicle for at least one day, this is known as "long-term parking". This is usually necessary if you are driving your own car to the airport in order to travel yourself.
