I like the look of that, but don't worry, I'm not about to put in an offer!

said it before elsewhere - but the red 635 csi was sold my my old company to their research team for £2900 and it appeared on the show being bought from its "owner of the last X years" in london for £2000.

I love the idea of the show, but have to appreciate its all a load of balls. Was told the cars were never sold on the show then they turned up on ebay a few months later. Most seem to be with the same dealer near London last time i looked.

The red VW beach buggy kit they made years ago, was supposedly sold to a guy at the end who loved it. Funny thing was that guy lived three doors from me and I never saw it and he never mentioned it.

Oh did I forget to mention he was a TV producer mmmmmmmmm

I went to see the MGB a few years ago at a local dealer and looked a really nice car for £3000. Ended up with the TVR instead though.

I'd forgotten about the A310 - quite like it, & looks like Ed has been busy on this one!

I couldn't possibly buy one... "Ollld out yerrr and!"

On a side point, I appeared on ITV's "Used Car Roadshow" many moons ago. I was interested to see what stock they'd turn out, but of the three cars one had fa*g burns on the interior and the other was highly iffy, with airbag light on, cracked windscreen and dodgy private seller, so I declined. (The third was an overpriced but minty CLK 200)

I WD that Edd China really peeves me He would be great on strictly come dancing but just with his hands the he waves them about. The worse that made me cringe was the 67 Mini the amount of filler he put in that N/S door I cringed and the capri well what a pigs ear he did on that.So Edd leave the bodywork to someone who knows what they're doing Brewer where do you get your figures from when buying cars? I'm surprised he isn't bankrupt

Ah, "Top Tip" Ed. Some of those are downright scarey!

Yes, I enjoyed the aerosoled Capri... that was, err.. a classic indeed.

Love the way they get just the right parts so cheap too. Never a broken stud, never any hidden rust etc etc

Rather watch Fast n Loud any time.

Given that from memory Brewer cooked that 310,and given that all car TV shows involve as much "trickery" as is required to get the "Shoot" "In the can" I wouldn't touch anything that has appeared on ANY tv show.... Either that or if you have to have this car (and yes I understand it's rarity and beauty) leave them your phone no and bid half what it's up at,be prepared to send the other half plus more on righting the wrongs to make the car reliable and usable......

My son and then myself owned the Wheeler Dealers Mk2 Jag for a number of years. However, it certainly looked like it had been quite badly neglected by the following owner(s) before Ed got his hands on it. It cropped up for sale several times soon after I sold it with the mileage never seeming to increase. A couple of adds even said it was a race car, but of course there was never any substantiating evidence.

Just seen the end of WD trading up or whatever it was, where he's trading all over the world.

In the end he ended up with a first gen 996 in Dubai.

Am I missing the point? Surely he should have bought the final car in the UK?
I very much doubt if it would be possible to buy any of those cars, ship them half way round the world & still make money on them...
